Documents Required for Admission
To keep your admission process smooth and quick, here’s the complete checklist of documents needed — organized by what’s required for every applicant, and what’s needed only for specific grades or situations.
Required for All Applicants
Birth certificate (original + photocopy)
Passport-size photographs of the student (recent, typically 4-6 copies)
Aadhaar card of the student
Address proof (utility bill, rental agreement, or Aadhaar of parent/guardian)
Parent/guardian ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, or passport)
Additional Documents for Grade 1 and Above
Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school, duly signed and stamped
Report card / mark sheet from the previous academic year
Migration certificate, if transferring from a different education board
If Transferring Mid-Year
If you’re relocating and need to transfer your child mid-academic-year, you’ll also need:
A transfer certificate specifically noting the date of the last attended class
Conduct/character certificate from the previous school
For Cambridge, IGCSE & A-Level Applicants
Students applying to Geetanjali International Schools or National Public School’s Cambridge/IGCSE/A-Level track may also need:
Previous school’s curriculum/syllabus certification, if transferring from a non-Cambridge system
Predicted or actual IGCSE results, for A-Level applicants
